Impeccably dressed and soft-spoken, Elaine Wynn sits in her spacious office adjacent to her husband Steve's at the Wynn hotel in Las Vegas and, improbably, talks about having to watch her step. Not that she's taken a bad one, but ever since a Las Vegas elementary school was named for her, in 1990--an event that, after the birth of her daughters, she calls her proudest moment--Wynn has put extra pressure on herself to be at her best.
