A COUNCILLOR has called for an investigation into why Leeds City Council has been cutting grass in the middle of the night after more complaints from angry residents.
The YEP revealed earlier this month how people in Stanningley are suffering sleepless nights by the noise of council workmen who have been ordered to cut grass at 3am.
Now Pudsey Labour councillor Richard Lewis has demanded an inquiry into why the decision was made after elderly residents of a sheltered housing complex and tower block tenants have also come forward to complain.
