Imade a note to myself last month to write a column about Don Imus, commending him for keeping his word about using his new show to make amends and do good. He recently complicated matters by either sticking his foot in his mouth or not letting it be clear that his tongue was planted in his cheek.
Last year, Imus lost his gigs with CBS radio and MSNBC for his racially and sexually derogatory remarks about the Rutgers women's basketball team.
