WILSONVILLE, Ore., March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Tektronix, Inc. (NYSE: TEK) is currently the leader in the fast-growing market for workgroup color printing in the office, according to 1995 sell-through figures compiled by InfoCorp.'s Computer Intelligence Scoreboard. Tektronix' laser-class color printers captured an estimated 48 percent share of the market, business-oriented "color page printers," making the company the leading vendor in the U.S.
The figures reflect the last year (January 1995 - January 1996) of sales through dealer channels, and tracked major vendors of business color printers, including Apple, Hewlett-Packard and Lexmark.
