The evening draws itself in he cat has not been back yet.
I thought, I'll slip out to tell him supper is ready. Calling his name, "Where are you? Fish! Fish!" I went through avenues, between rows of street trees glowing and bright in the setting sun. I went about his territory following many tracks.
Those who passed by gave me an odd stare.
She's walking, calling out "Fish," "Fish." Who is she? Who believes I am sounding my cat's name? Must I explain he is called "Fish"?
Under the sky, when winter stood close, wandering about and calling ...
