SCARBOROUGH skipper Darren Harland was a disappointed man after Saturday's push to close the gap on the Yorkshire League's leaders was hit by the rain.
Their excellent run of form was ended when their clash with Yorkshire Academy at North Marine Road on Saturday was completely rained off.
Only Doncaster managed to finish their game, as they beat Harrogate to trim the gap on second-placed Scarborough.
Harland said: "It was very disappointing, but you just have to get on with it.
