PASSENGERS faced travel disruption this morning after a troubled rail operator was forced to cancel a train to London.
As reported previously in the Mail, Grand Central has been plagued with delays, cancellations and technical problems since launching its Sunderland to King's Cross service at the end of last year.
On Saturday, the Mail reported how the York-based operator had missed its latest deadline to get its full service back on track - and does not want to say when it will be resumed.
This morning, around 20 commuters - including town MP Iain Wright - were left waiting after the 7.08am service to London failed to turn up at Hartlepool ...
