TOM FOLEY, the American ambassador, threw a whammy of a party up at hisresidence in the Phoenix Park on Friday evening to celebrate 232 years ofAmerican independence.
Soprano Regina Nathan kicked off the evening with Amhran na bhFiann followed bythe Star Spangled Banner. The ambassador then welcomed everyone, saying: Yourehere either because youre a friend of mine, a friend of the Embassy, extremelyimportant or extremely good-looking.
