MOSUL, July 7 (VOI) - Unidentified gunmen on Monday killed the official of the Islamic party in Talafar, a security source said.
"Unidentified gunmen attacked the house of Hajj Abdul Bari Sherzi, the official of the Islamic party, in al-Houma village in Talafar, west of Mosul, and opened fire on him, killing him instantly," the source told Aswat al-Iraq - Voices of Iraq - (VOI) on condition of anonymity.
He did not add further details.
The Iraqi Islamic party is a Sunni political party in Iraq.
