Rural conglomerate PGG Wrightson will spend several million dollars installing a new enterprise resource planning system supplied by Oracle that will help underpin its expansion strategy. PGG Wrightson employs about 3000 staff and has annual revenues of more than $1 billion. Last week it unveiled a $220 million proposal to buy a half share of New Zealand's biggest meat processor, Silver Fern Farms.
