Buoyant market swells Donegal Creameries' profits

Donegal Creameries plc recorded a 75pc increase in trading profits through 2007, with the bottom-line figure improving from '3.5 million to '6.1 million.

The stronger performance came on the back of a sharp increase in turnover, which rose from '112.2 million to '125.6 million. Results from operating activities increased from '5.6 million to '9.3 million, including a revaluation gain on investment properties of '3.2 million.
