Donegal Creameries see profits leap by 75pc

Donegal Creameries plc recorded a 75pc increase in trading profits through 2007, with the bottom-line figure rising from '3.5 million to '6.1 million.

The stronger performance came on the back of a sharp increase in turnover, which rose from '112.2m to '125.6m. Results from operating activities increased from '5.6m to '9.3m, including a revaluation gain on investment properties of '3.2 million.
