DROMARA SHEEPDOG TRIALS.

'SCION Hill' situated in the foothills of Slieve Croob was the setting for the two-day Dromara and District Sheepdog Trials on Friday and Saturday, 27th and 28th June.

The Novice Class on Friday, judged by John Small, attracted an entry of 32 dogs. The sheep were good, but difficult to pen with the novice dogs.

Saturday's competition, judged by J.P. McFadden, had a total of 77 entries. Conditions were very favourable and a number of almost perfect runs were enjoyed by all present.
