THE pupils at Barrow Island Community Primary School in Barrow-in-Furness celebrated when they discovered they had won the North West 2007 RBS Dream Playgrounds competition receiving a [pounds sterling]10,000 prize fund to transform their school playground.
RBS Dream Playgrounds was launched by The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) who own NatWest and national school grounds charity, Learning through Landscapes to identify school playgrounds in Britain most in need of new facilities.
