Hanwha Chemical announced to enter solar cell business. For this, the company will actively pursue solar cell business from the 2nd quarter of 2008 with purpose of mass-producing at the 2nd quarter of 2009; the company will first construct 30MW per year Cell production line and plan to have gross sale of KRW 70B.
Hanwha Chemical proceeds with increasing solar cell efficiency through development of Nano technology process. The company will expand production capacity to 1GW with KRW 800B by 2015 in order to accomplish 5% of global solar cell market. Also ...
