ONE of the most pleasant and recurring of my daydreams is the one of Prince Philip giving a lecture in a politically correct American university. The Duke of Edinburgh does not suffer fools gladly, nor would he be easily intimidated by the multiculturalists that pervade our campuses nowadays. Unlike the War Hero in the White House, Philip saw action in the Second World War, and is known for his personal courage.
Prince Philip is by blood very royal indeed. On his mother's side he is a direct descendant of Queen Victoria, and through his father he descends from the Danish and Greek royal families but also from the Russian imperial family. He was born on the kitchen ...
