Castlecomer Road "deathtrap" needs attention.

A STRETCH of road between Kilkenny and Castlecomer has been described as a "potential death trap" for motorists.
Former Kilkenny County Councillor, Martin Carroll said the road at Damerstown, a few miles from Castlecomer, had been the scene of an "alarming number" of serious accidents over the past two years, many of which resulted in injuries.
The Castlecomer native said there had been three serious crashes reported at the spot in an eight hour period over a recent weekend.
