Sex attack case adjourned for probation report.

A MARRIED MAN who admitted sexually assaulting a hotel guest while being employed at the Lyrath Estate Hotel as a night porter had his case adjourned at yesterday's (Tuesday) sitting of Kilkenny District Court.

Solicitor Michael Lanigan handed in a victim impact statement to the judge and told the court that there was no probation report available and applied for the case to be adjourned.

Judge William Harnett adjourned the case until September 9 for sentencing.
