VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 20, 1996--Jackson Hewitt Tax Service (NASDAQ NMS: JTAX) announced today the sales and earnings results for the third quarter and first nine months of fiscal 1996.
The Company reported that the total revenue for the third quarter of 1996 was $5.0 million compared to $4.3 million for the third quarter of 1995. Total revenue for the first nine months of 1996 increased $1.3 million to $6.9 million from $5.6 million for the comparable period in 1995. The Company reported a net loss for the third quarter of 1996 of $0.5 million or $0.11 per share as compared to $0.7 million or $0.18 per share for the same period in 1995. The ...
