Oxford Airport is to upgrade to Cat 4 RFFS fire and rescue service all day from July 21, 2008.

The service would be from 0630-2230 hrs each weekday. This fire crew team has been doubled from 11 to 22 full-time personnel. The management is to be handed over to Oxford Airport management on July 15, 2008.

Cat 4 RFFS means that a much wider range of aircraft types, such as the Citation Sovereign, the new Hawker 4000, ...
