1. Present status of the compound fertilizer sector
1.1 Average content of nutrients in domestic chemical fertilizers
According to data provided by the China Nitrogenous Fertilizer Industry Association, compared with 2005 the physical output of various chemical fertilizers in 2006 was as follows. Nitrogenous fertilizer output was around 7.0 million tons higher. Of that total, urea output was 4.3 million tons higher, ammonium bicarbonate output was 1.9 million tons lower, the output of ammonium chloride was a lot higher, the output of ammonium nitrate was slightly lower, the output of other varieties (such as ammonium sulfate) was slight higher, and nitrogen contained in ...
