During the course of the long International League season, there are some stretches that fly by and others that seem to drag on forever.
The Syracuse Chiefs currently find themselves stuck in the later.
The Chiefs' 9-5 loss to Buffalo on Wednesday night at Alliance Bank Stadium extended to 20 games their streak of failing to put together consecutive wins. The Chiefs have not won back-to-back games since June 19-20 against Richmond.
Since then, Syracuse is 7-13 and has dropped from 11/2 games behind North Division leader Pawtucket to 91/2.
