IT seems Sharleen Spiteri's decision to release a solo album has caused a few shockwaves. Does it signal the end of the chart-topping Scottish band Texas, which she has fronted for more than two decades?
Spiteri lets out a laugh when I pose the question, which she has obviously heard many times since launching the publicity drive for her debut release Melody.
"It makes me laugh. You were all fed up with Texas, now you all want to know if Texas are doing more stuff," she jokes in her thick Glaswegian accent.
