A DONSIDE woman is desperate to trace a clock that holds great sentimental value to her following a mix-up at a Dinnet antique shop.
Enid Reade, of Tullynessle, is hoping to recover her half-hexagonal Colonial American clock after another customer, who was getting the exact same type of clock repaired at the same time as Enid, mistakenly took the wrong one home.
The horologist who worked on the two timepieces used the Auld Alliance Antiques shop in Dinnet as a base to collect and deliver clocks. Sadly, he passed away just before Christmas, leaving Enid no way of contacting the person who she believes has accidentally taken the clock.
