THOUSANDS turned out at the weekend as the Fettercairn Show took place for the first time in two years.
Last year's show had to be cancelled for health and safety reasons as heavy rain made the venue too wet.
But rain stayed away for the event this year, leaving visitors to enjoy the many activities on offer.
Fettercairn Farmers' Club secretary Lennox Hair said that estimated attendance for the day was around 3,500.
She said: "It has been a good turnout. You've got to have good weather so that people are happy to spend their time outdoors. The weather actually suited the livestock fine."
