Young police fanatic tries out his new uniform for real.

IT'S often said that policemen are getting younger... and now here's the proof.

Pint-sized Connor Shaw is just 10 years old.

Of course, Connor isn't an officer just yet... but he's clearly committed to a career on the beat.

He already has the uniform - complete with replica baton and radio - which he has spent the last few months and all his pocket money putting together.

And now he's had a first hand look at life in the force, too.

After hearing about his passion for the police, the Morley Station officers invited him in for a 'behind the scenes' tour.
