Leeds street dug up 12 times over gas leak.

Residents are kicking up a stink over a gas leak which they say has seen their street dug up 12 TIMES in as many years.

Apart from being fed up with the traffic problems created, frustrated neighbours on Copley Lane in the Robin Hood area of Leeds fear for their safety every time the pipe springs another potentially deadly leak near their homes.

Workmen are just finishing yet another week of repairs on the pipe for the second time this year, where the road joins Leadwell Lane.

Ian Brown, 54, has been worst affected as most of the digging over the past decade has taken place at the end of his driveway.
