A FORMER inmate at a women's prison smuggled drugs hidden behind a bear on a Valentine card delivered to an ex-cellmate, a jury has been told.
Paul Farrow, prosecuting at Stafford Crown Court, said 43-year-old prisoner Bridget Wilkinson's DNA was found on the gum of an envelope and on the top corner of the heart.

Put heart into Valentine gift; Find out if you're a klutz or a Cupid Are...
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel;
February 11, 1996 ;
JAN UEBELHERR; Jan Uebelherr If you're looking for specific gift ideas for Valentine's Day, here are some suggestions: 1. "Dinner for Two" ($27.99 at Winkie's in Whitefish Bay), a "menus and music" kit with recipes from country inns and a compact disc of music by the San Francisco String Quartet. 2. What's your sweetheart's favorite food? Present it lovingly, artfully, humorously. Serve him his beloved Door County Potato Chips on a silver platter. 3. A significant something a calendar page, menu from a favorite restaurant, play bill framed. 4. If you know your mate's boss and your mate well enough, arrange a surprise day off. Some people have "kidnapped" their mate for an hour or a day, Franzoi says. 5. For your beloved coupon-clipper, consider Hallmark's little Cupid's coupon books. They come in several temperatures: "Coupons for Red-Hot Lovers," "Cupid's Coupons for Cute Couples," "The Hanky Panky Coupon Book" and "Coupons for the Incurably Romantic." They're $2.50 each. Or make your own with red paper, lace and candy hearts. Make coupons for back rubs, kisses, hugs. 6. Make a heartfelt dinner. You can get heart-shaped tricolor Pasta d'Amore ($3.75 for 16 ounces at Winkie's). Call ahead to your favorite pizza place to see if you can get a heart-shaped pizza. 7. Leave a trail of little notes in a briefcase, lunch box, tacked to the toe of a wingtip shoe. "It doesn't have to be something expensive to delight the other person," Franzoi says. 8. When you come home on Valentine's Day, dim the lights and put on Patsy Cline's "Greatest Hits." Then dance with your partner. It's most effective if you do this without saying a word. 9. Have a winter picnic. Firer and her husband do this often, either packing a meal or buying one on the way to the lakefront, where they sit in the car. 10. The delightful, maddening differences between the sexes and how we end up needing each other are explored with hysterical results in Mark Twain's "The Diary of Adam and Eve" ($1.99, Random House's Modern Library Mini). It begins with Adam writing about Eve's first day in Eden, and how he wishes she would stop following him and "stay with the other animals." It will make your sweetheart smile.;
