CHART toppers Kaiser Chiefs stopped off at their former school to present a poignant award for sporting excellence.
Simon Rix, Nick Baines and Nick Hodgson joined pupils and staff at St Mary's Catholic Comprehensive in Menston, Leeds, yesterday
The trio presented the Jamie Payne-Ross award - which recognises outstanding sporting achievements - to talented cricket and rugby player Josh Inglis.
The award is presented every year in honour of Jamie, who died in a tragic accident in December 1993.
