Four Leeds men are standing trial at Leeds Crown Court charged with murdering Edward (Teddy) Simpson during an alleged bid to rob him of [pounds sterling]300,000 and drugs.
The jury has heard how Mr Simpson was beaten before being dragged from his home on Sticker Lane, Bradford by a gang of men just after 8pm on August 1 last year.
His body was found by the side of a track in Wyke, near Bradford, the next morning.
