Images of jazz legends going on display.

UNFORGETTABLE images of musical greats including Nat King Cole and Sammy Davis Jnr that were taken by a Leeds snapper are to go on display in the city.

The black and white photos are the work of Terry Cryer, once described as "The Dean of UK jazz and blues photographers".

From the mid 1950s to 1960 Terry, who was born in Leeds and grew up on the Ebor Gardens Estate, captured some of the greatest musicians in the world with his Rolleiflex camera.

The 75-year-old lensman is now officially retired and lives in Knaresborough.
