Nicole Teter's wild ride through the U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials delivered her all the way to Beijing.
Two days after falling in her 800-meter semifinal race and appearing to see her Olympic dreams in the event end, Teter finished fourth in the Trials final Monday and earned a trip to China because the third-place finisher failed to hit the Olympic "A" standard.
Hazel Clark-Riley made her third Olympic team in the event by winning in 1 minute, 59.82 seconds, giving her four career U.S. outdoor championships. Alice Schmidt was second in 2:00.46. She was slower than the "A" standard of 2 minutes but made the Olympic team ...
