Why Windows NT will become the OS of choice for industrial computing.
Industrial computing is undergoing a paradigm shift from proprietary point solutions to client/server-based integrated systems. As food processors continue to look to computer technology to take a more prominent role in the production of their products, limitations in the DOS- and Windows-based solutions now common in the marketplace are becoming evident.
