SCARBOROUGH's visiting gipsies are disgusted at the council's choice of site of this year's Seamer Horse Fair.
Visitors say the site at High Eastfield is unsuitable and have set up their own camp at nearby location.
Last night seven caravans perched on the grass verges in Centurian Way, on the edge of Crossgates.
One father said: "There is no way I am taking my family to that site, it is dangerous. The horses and the caravans are in the same field and it is just not safe.
"Also it is on a hill, we had trouble driving our truck up there. It is totally unsuitable."
