Prices of plastic household items shoots up by 35 per cent
New Delhi, July 13 (PTI) Apart from food items and oil, plastic products such as water storage tank, buckets, furniture, toys and other commonly used household items have become costlier by 30-35 per cent, say manufacturers.
"The prices of household plastic items like buckets, furniture, utensils and even soap cases have increased by 30- 35 per cent in the last six months mainly on account of rise in raw material prices," Plastic Export Promotion Council Chairman Nimesh Sayani said.
