THE announcement last week by the British Chamber of Commerce that the UK may be about to slide into recession will strike a chord with people across North Wales.
A combination of the credit crunch, high fuel and food prices, the falling value of homes and the inability of the UK Government to do anything constructive to address this declining economic position, has left consumer and business confidence at its lowest level for over sixteen years.
