WARWICK, R.I. _ Sal Corio had doubled his sales and his customers in two years after he began bottling and selling seltzer water.
Still, it wasn't enough. He wasn't making much money and the market was limited.
He wanted to get more people to take his home-delivery service and to try his new products, including Italian-style flavored sodas.
His company had to move beyond the single-product, start-up phase. And that meant competing against the discount seltzer waters sold at supermarkets and the upscale sparkling waters sold in fancy bottles in deli cases and gourmet shops.
