Bitter charges of nepotism and corruption are flying faster than a supersonic jet around Zimbabwe over the questionable awarding of a lucrative design contract for the new Harare International Airport. Andrew Meldrum reports.

When President Robert Mugabe's Cabinet made the extraordinary decision to award a Z$75m ($8.33m) design contract for Zimbabwe's new prestige airport to a little-known Cyprus firm, Air Harbour Technologies (AHT), whose local agent is none other than the President's nephew, Mr Leo Mugabe, allegations of nepotism and corruption abounded.
