MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Knight-Ridder Information, Inc. has announced a new Windows(R) platform for their KR OnDisc family of CD-ROM products. The new software is being shipped free to existing customers and will run on Windows 3.1, Windows 95, and Windows NT operating systems.

The standard Windows interface allows searchers to access easy-to-use icons and pull-down menus to find the information they are seeking. Command searching is also available for customers more familiar with the DIALOG(R) online service.
