COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--Mar. 26--The Colorado Springs World Arena is giving birth to a cluster of new restaurants in south Colorado Springs while the arena itself has yet to be built.
Carrabba's Italian Grill and an Outback Steakhouse will open their doors next week on Geyser Drive within walking distance of the arena site.
Six more restaurants or fast-food outlets are expected to open in the area near Interstate 25 and Circle Drive by the end of the summer, joining at least five other restaurants.
