A FAMILY fun day was blessed with sunny weather at the weekend.
Organised by Bakkavor Bourne Salads, the fun day at the Recreation Ground attracted more than 1,000 visitors on Sunday.
The fun day was opened by Paddington Bear and attractions for youngsters included bouncy castles, magic shows and a circus skills workshop. For the adults, there were craft stalls and an all-day bar, as well as a dog agility show and a display of birds of prey. There was also a Dakota flypast.
Jenny Holloway, who works at Bourne Salads, said the event was a big success.
