More than 20 new cars will make their world premieres at this month's British International Motor Show as the organisers attempt to re-establish the event as a truly global spectacle.
Frantic activity behind closed doors has resulted in some of the world's biggest manufacturers agreeing to reveal their most important new models at the London event in a bid to compete against Geneva, Paris, Tokyo and the rest of the established international motor show circuit.
