JAKARTA, July 15 Asia Pulse - Indonesia's domestic car sales in the first half of 2008 reached 292,589 units, accounting for 67 per cent of total sales in 2007.

In June 2008 alone, car sales rose to 54,631 units from 50,718 units a month earlier, according to Indonesian Automotive Producers Association (Gaikindo) data published on Monday.
