SUMMIT, N.J., March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Hoechst Technical Polymers (HTP) will expand polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) capacity of its Shelby, NC plant by 50% during the first half of 1996 to satisfy the global market. HTP is currently one of the top three global suppliers of PBT in the world market. According to Dr. Herman Schaap, global polyester business line director, "This expansion shows our continuing dedication to the global PBT marketplace, and it will open new opportunities to supply new customers.
