Article: UMI AND LIBRARY JOURNAL TO CONDUCT STUDY

ANN ARBOR, Mich. and NEW YORK, March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- UMI, a Bell & Howell company (NYSE: BHW), and Library Journal, a Cahners Publishing Company publication, announced today that they have entered into a partnership to explore the information and reference needs of public library users.

The announcement was made during the annual Public Library Association meeting in Portland, Oregon. The results of the study, which will not be known until sometime this summer, could have implications in the development of solution-oriented products and delivery channels for public libraries.
