MirInvest buys steel works in UK
MOSCOW. July 15 (Interfax) - Libala Limited (Cyprus), an affiliated company of MirInvest which represents the interests of the Estar Holding co-owner, Duma member Vadim Varshavsky, and the company's management, has bought from Alphasteel a mini mill steel works in the United Kingdom, which is capable of producing around 2 million tons of rolled sheet steel per year, MirInvest's General Director Vasily Storozhuk told Interfax.
The deal was struck on July 14, he said. Storozhuk did not specify the amount of the deal.
