Riyadh-based property developer Dar al-Arkan is to launch a multi-billion-dollar mixed-used development in Jeddah before the end of the year.
The project is said to be worth billions of dollars and will include residential and commercial buildings. It will cover approximately 15 square kilometres and will be one of the largest projects undertaken by the developer in the kingdom.
The project is expected to be launched in October when Saudi ruler King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz al-Saud is due to lay the foundation stone.
A spokesman for Dar al-Arkan confirms that the Jeddah project will go ahead. "We cannot say too much ...
