MAN SAVED BY MAGPAS HELPS THEM SAVE OTHERS.

A MAN whose life was saved by a doctor and paramedic from a charitable organisation is now helping the charity raise cash to save the lives of others.

Mark Clingo (pictured left) was close to death after suffering massive head and chest injuries in a motorcycle accident in his home village of Parson Drove in February last year when the Magpas volunteer medics arrived at the scene.

He was so ill Mark was put into a hospital-induced coma for two weeks to give his body time to heal.

And staff at Addenbrookes' Hospital, Cambridge, where he was treated, told him that if it had not been for the expertise of the Magpas doctor and paramedic he would have died.
