CLOSING a Wisbech Post Office will leave thousands of elderly and vulnerable people high and dry.
That was the message given out to local MP Malcolm Moss at a protest meeting outside Wisbech's Harecroft Road branch on Friday.
Mr Moss met well over 70 protestors at the meeting organised by post mistress Nisha Maiya to launch her campaign to save the branch from closure.
As campaigners gathered to air their views to Mr Moss, who has pledged his support, hundreds of Citizen readers rallied to the cause and have completed coupons published in last week's edition.
