Pretty is a word rarely associated with a rodeo.
From the rugged cowboys to the savage beasts they ride, everything looks a little better with some dirt on it.
As Sunday night's Firecracker Bull Riding champion Allen Helmuth posed for pictures with Eugene Pro Rodeo queen Rachel Anderson, second-place finisher Ned Cross hucked a clump of dirt at the champ.
"They give away a nice rifle," Cross said with a chuckle, referring to the gifts the champion received.
"I wanted that rifle."
Perhaps he wanted to have his arm around the Rodeo queen even more.
